It just doesn’t seem possible that September 2022 will leave us this Friday, does it? September is a changing season. It’s when the pocketbook is more empty than usual from the purchase of school supplies, clothes, and registration fees.

Solar Proponent LLC, based out of Austin, Texas, applied on Thursday, March 17, 2022, to Madisonville CISD on the proposal of building solar fields on some parcels of land in the school district. Of course, these are proposed zones, more likely referred to as reinvestment zones, where the school district has accepted this Hollow Branch Creek Solar application, where if the company chooses to build, they can build.

Last week was homecoming in Madisonville, Texas, with various events happening at and outside the school, culminating with Friday night's big game, where the Homecoming King and Queen were to be announced.
