DH road way issues continue advance

As movements toward correcting long overdue Darrell Hall roadways in Grimes County progress, we will make wide use of social media and anticipate neighborhood meetings to take place for question-and-answer sessions when it is safe to do so. Estimated costs to individual property owners will be made available as the process advances with direct mailings of all pertinent information and releases to each DH landowner as the project develops.

TOBACCO BARN COLLISION

An individual crashed his car into the side of Tobacco Barn on Main Street in Madisonville Jan. 13, no injuries were reported. According to MPD officials, the driver was in his 60s with an amputated leg and the accident was the result of a diabetic episode JONATHAN DEELEY

MPD vehicles vandalized

An individual stabbed one tire on four Madisonville Police Department patrol vehicles and their animal control truck as they sat idle behind the station at approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday. In a Friday Facebook post detailing the event, the department stated there was roughly $1,000 in damage from the vandalistic action.
