Wilma’s life will be celebrated on Saturday; March 18, 2023, at 11AM at The West Main Church of Christ in Madisonville, TX. Pastor Elmer Josey will officiate. The burial will follow at Midway Southside Cemetery. There will be a visitation Friday; March 17, 2023, at Day Funeral Home Chapel from 6PM-8PM.

Nelda Ruth Murphy, mostly known as Ruth, died peacefully after a brief illness at her home with her only surviving son by her side. She will be greatly missed but she’s no longer in pain and she’s celebrating her new life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Joyce Marie (Andrus) Nevill; 81 years, 5 months, 26 days; passed away at her home in North Zulch, TX on Sunday; March 19, 2023 with her family by her side. Funeral services are scheduled for 11AM on March 22, 2023 at Cross Baptist Church in North Zulch, TX with Bro. Munroe Rice officiating. The burial will follow at Cross Cemetery in Iola, TX and there will be a visitation prior to the service beginning at 10AM.Joyce was born on September 23, 1941 in North Zulch, TX to Mack Leonard and Della Rea (McCreery) Andrus and was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Don Andrus and Leonard Andrus.

Barbara Jean (Boren) Gregory was born on February 10, 1934 in Denison, Texas to William Frank and Ruth Vera (Babcock) Boren. Barbara lived in Denison as a little girl and later settled in McKinney, Texas where she attended school until graduating in 1951.

Terry Shiflet; 66 years, 9 months, 8 days; a long-time resident of Iola, TX; passed away on Sunday; March 12, 2023 in Bryan, TX. The funeral services are scheduled for 4PM on Saturday; March 18, 2023 at Enon Missionary Baptist Church in Iola, TX with Bro. Larry Andrews officiating.

Edith Irene (Goff ) Springer Denman, 74, of Trinity, Texas passed away on March 15, 2023 in Trinity, Texas. She was born on November 9, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Joe Bailey Goff and Eddie Irene (Carroll) Goff.

April Ann (Conner) Zachary – loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend; 69 years of Madisonville, TX; passed away on Monday; March 6, 2023, in Carrollton, TX. April’s life will be celebrated on Saturday; March 25, 2023, at 2PM at The Midway Church of Christ in Midway, TX. Bro. Ben Stevens will officiate.

Christopher (Chris) Townsend, 56, was born on May 25, 1966 in Austin, Texas, and went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2023. Chris was the son of incredibly proud parents, Buell & Maria Townsend, and grew up in both East Austin and Taylor, Texas.

Homegoing services for Falessa Renett Dickey were held 1 P.M., Friday, March 10, 2023 at New Life Missionary Church, Madisonville, Texas. Rev. Lloyd Jones officiated the service. Interment followed at West End Cemetery, Madisonville, Texas.
