Barbara Zo “Bee” (Minyard) Fraley Clute, 79, of Madisonville passed away on April 16, 2023, in Bryan.

Barbara was born in Beaumont on October 18, 1943, to Pierce and Loreda Minyard, and grew up in Colmesneil, Texas where she served as the drum major of the Colmesneil High School band. She was married to Joel Martin Fraley, and they had three children, Marty Fraley (Lastell), Angela Baker (Gary), and Andrew Fraley. Later in life, she was married to Calvin Clute. They were married until his death in 2011.

She lived most of her life in Madisonville, Texas where she loved to paint and spend time with her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and her many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by both of her parents and husbands, Joe Fraley and Calvin Clute. She is survived by her children, Martin M.

Fraley and wife, Lastell, Angela F. Baker and husband, Gary and Joel Andrew Fraley, as well as her grandchildren, Jacob Baker and wife, Shara of Alaska, Bethany and Cody Culp of Madisonville and Jordan Baker of Bryan. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Ryder, Landri, Emma, Avery, Gage, Jackson, and Elizabeth A funeral service honoring Barbara’s life was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Midway Church of Christ, Midway, Texas. James Fraley and Gary Baker will officiated the service. A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon in Gregory Cemetery, Colmesneil.

Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
