Mr. Cleon Johnson was born November 6, 1978 to Callie Johnson and Cleon Jordan. He attended school in Madisonville, Texas and grew up in Midway, Texas. He worked for Verizon as a cellphone tower installer. He loved spending time with his children, family and making people laugh. Mr. Johnson passed away October 8, 2022 in Midway, Texas. Mr. Cleon Johnson is preceded in death by his father, Cleon Jordan; grandmother, Fannie Johnson; bonus dad, Kerry Walker aka “Wolfman;” six uncles, Herman Johnson, Jr., Joe Allen Johnson, Hue Johnson, Elmer Jean Johnson, James Henry Johnson and Lee Dorsey Johnson, Sr,. and four aunts, Lora Jean Allen, Louise Wright, Maggie Johnson and Hazel Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories mother, Callie Walker; two children with KaSaundra Scott, son Kahlil Johnson and daughter, Kylee Johnson; three brothers, Frederick Johnson, Sr., Troy Reed and Kerry Walker, Jr.; two sisters, Joy Walton and Monique Walker; four aunts, Ada Goffney, Joyce Gilbert, Jackie Johnson and Katy Lacey; four uncles, Marcellous Johnson, Sr., Charles Johnson, Michael Goffney, Sr. and Dale Lacey; special niece, Darielle Harris and special nephew, Frederick Johnson, Jr., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and caretaker, Misty Hamilton and friend, Kizzy Garrett. Homegoing services for Mr. Johnson were held 11 A.M., Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Interment was in Tanyard Cemetery in rural Madison County, Texas. Pallbearers: Joe Goffney, Anthony Johnson, Sr., Lee Johnson, Jr., Marcellous Johnson, Jr., Rogerick Johnson, Kerry Walker, Jr.
