1938 – 2024 Dalton Thomas “Sonny” Fox, 85 years, 5 months, and 25 days, of Madisonville, TX passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in Bryan, TX. Sonny’s life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Day Funeral Home Chapel with the visitation prior to the service beginning at noon. The burial will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery. Bro. Brad Brock will officiate.

Sonny was born on Sept. 13, 1938 in Midway, TX to Raymond and Vida (Mosley) Fox.

He graduated from Madisonville High School in 1957 and retired from the construction industry.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Ann (Charlton) Fox; and his grandson, David Roark.

Sonny is survived by his children, Jafrenda Roberts, Julie Whitley (John), and Tina Barkley (Wade); his sister, Glenda Logan; his grandchildren, Tyler Roberts (Jessica), Kelsey O’Brien (Caleb), Brandon Etie (Maygen), Alan Etie (Brittiany), Brodie Roberts, and Autumn Barkley; his numerous great and great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Roberts, Caleb O’Brien, Brandon Etie, Alan Etie, Brodie Roberts, and Cody Gerica.
