George D. Miles, Jr., 83, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away March 23, 2022. He was born to George and Mildred Maltby Miles June 26, 1938 in Jacksonville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Beth.

Survivors include son Scott (Sheri) Miles of Huntsville; granddaughters Kathryn (Marshall) Altom of Huntsville; Emily (Matt) Eberle of Hays, Kansas; stepsons Rusty (Michelle) Cosby of Kerrville; and Randy Cosby of Crockett; great-grandchildren, Walker Altom of Huntsville; and Londyn, Greyson, and Owen Eberle of Hays, Kansas; sister Louann Miles of Houston; and niece Jordan (J.R.) Carson. Additionally, he is survived by many other family members and friends who loved him.

The funeral service was Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Huntsville Church of Christ. Visitation with the family was held at 1 p.m. prior to the service. George will be interred at Brooke Cemetery.
