Patrick Henry Ross passed away on December 19,2022 at the age of 73. Patrick was born on December 9, 1949 in Houston, TX to JB Ross and Nancy Jane (Foster) Ross. He graduated from Milby High School in 1968. He attended Sam Houston State University where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree. Patrick served in the Army Reserve Military Police from 1972 until 1978.

After college, Patrick went to work for the Production Credit Association in Beaumont, TX as an agricultural loan officer. He enjoyed visiting with the farmers and ranchers he served until his retirement from Capital Farm Credit in Edna, TX in 2015. For many years, Patrick served as a member of the Lions Club in the Winnie-Stowell and Edna clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting skeet and trap, gunsmithing, and teaching his grandchildren how to hunt and play dominoes. Patrick also loved telling his grandchildren stories about his raccoon hunting exploits.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents JB and Nancy Jane Ross.

He is survived by: his sister Linda Worley and his brothers Roy Ross and James Ross; his three children–Katy (Ross) Williams and her husband Jonathan, Samuel Ross and his wife Cara, and William Ross; his grandchildren– Creedence Huckerby, Colt Williams, Caleb Williams, Joseph Williams, Emma Williams, and Sealey Ross.

Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints–1205 E.

Main Street in Madisonville, TX at 9 AM with a service to follow at the same location at 10 AM.

Burial to follow at the Jozye Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Patrick requested donations be made to the Victoria Skeet and Trap Club’s Scholarship Fund at PO Box 4116 Victoria, TX 77903-4116.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
