Roxanne (Russell) Roundtree; 44 years, 6 months, 24 days; of Madisonville; passed away at her home on Saturday; April 15, 2023. Roxanne’s life will be celebrated with graveside services at 1PM on Sunday; April 23 at Greer Cemetery in Madisonville. Her husband, Don, will officiate along with Dennis Ivey.

“Roxy”, as she was known by her family and friends, was born on September 22, 1978, in Bryan, to Rondall “Shorty” Russell and Delaine Shenkir. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1997 and subsequently graduated from Blinn College with her degree in nursing.

Roxy was preceded in death by her grandparents, George Russell (Lovelle) and Don’s grandfathers, Robert Collum and Wayne Brady.

Roxy is survived by her husband, Don Roundtree; her sons, Don Roundtree (Summer), Bradley Roundtree (Alyssa), and Bryce Roundtree; her soon-to-be granddaughter, Blair Roxanne Roundtree; her father, Shorty Russell; her mother, Delaine Shenkir; her sisters, Shalynn Lewis (Lloyd), Chelsea Tidrow (Brandon), and Caitlin Jugert (Trevor); her motherin- law, Donna Roberts (Ronnie), her father-inlaw, Randy Roundtree; her grandparents, I.J.

Shenkir (Barbara); her grandmother-inlaw, Ruth Bradley; and numerous in-laws, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and friends.
