Funeral services for Scott Wingate, age 51, of Anderson, Texas were held 11 A.M., Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Tim Owens, pastor of Iola Missionary Baptist Church, officiated the service. Interment followed in Concord Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Joshua Wright, Vance Stanfield, Brandon Stanfield, Dan Davis, Philip Upchurch Scott Duane Wingate was born June 25, 1971 in Houston, Texas to James Kenneth “J.K.” and Barbara “Bobbie” (Broussard) Wingate. He held a Bachelors in business degree and worked as a Real Estate Agent for Century 21 in Bryan, Texas. In his younger years, Scott enjoyed fishing with his grandparents. He offered good help around the house to his parents and was an excellent cook. In his free time, Scott enjoyed working on computers.

Scott passed away unexpectedly November 21, 2022 at his home in Anderson. He was preceded by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Surviving family members include parents, J.K. & Bobbie Wingate of Anderson; sister, Stacie Wright (Robert) of Huntsville; niece, Brynna and nephew, Joshua.

Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
