Mustangs prepare for Bi-District

Body
The Madisonville baseball team completed their season with 21 wins and a district record of 7-3, good for second place behind undefeated China Spring. The Mustangs will matchup with Hudson in a best-of-three Bi-District playoff series beginning with game one on the road Friday and concluding Saturday at home with game two as well as game three, if necessary.

Lady Mustangs honor seniors

The Madisonville softball team honored their three seniors for senior night at MHS Thursday after falling 7-1 to first place China Spring in their final home district bout. The Lady Mustangs entered Tuesday’s district finale against Connally tied for the fourth and final playoff spot with La Vega, but could potentially finish as high as the three seed.

Madisonville Track Qualifiers

Numerous Madisonville track athletes advanced to the Area Meet for their performances in the District Meet in La Vega last week. The Area Meet began in Madisonville Monday and resumed Wednesday (the comprehensive results will run in next week’s publication).
