Kerry Walker, Sr. was born July 17, 1947, to Louis and Evola Walker. He attended Evan E. Worthing High School and later joined the Marine Corps where he served in the Vietnam War. While there, he earned a Purple Heart while serving his country. In 1969, his first child, Monique Walker King (Linda Walker) was born in Oakland, California. They later moved to Beeville, Texas where Kerry took up a life of construction and truck driving. Eight years later his namesake, Kerry Walker, Jr. was born. The family then moved to Brenham, Texas followed by Houston, Texas. On April 7, 1992, Kerry married Callie Dean Walker and they settled in Midway, Texas. Kerry and Callie lived a great life together and shared twenty-eight years of marriage. more
