Betty Woodburn White, age 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24th at the Manchester Care Home in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Oklahoma on November 7, 1921 and spent most of her youth in Ponca City, Oklahoma. On December 21, 1942, she joined the war effort and enlisted in the army and was stationed in Phoenix, AZ. After the war, she received an honorable discharge and moved to the Houston area where she met and married Earl White. more
