Madisonville 4-H member Kendel Cleere raised and exhibited the Reserve Champion American Cross Jr. Market Steer at the 2019 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Cleere sold his Reserve Champion Steer in the Fort Worth Stock Show Junior Market Steer Auction on Feb. 9. There were over 1,800 market steers exhibited at the show in Fort Worth this year.
Cleere was one of just a number of Madisonville locals to find success in Fort Worth and other locations during the current showing season. Cleere’s brother, Kanin, exhibited the seventh place Lightweight American Cross Jr. Market Steer and also sold him in the Junior Market Auction.
The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo took place from Jan. 18 through Feb. 9.
