House of Hope hosts Pastor Duane Miller
The House of Hope Addiction Recovery Center, at 901 W Trinity St. in Madisonville, will host a speech by Pastor Duane Miller at 6 p.m. May 23. Pastor Miller has been interviewed by many in the years since a healing experience, including Dr. James Dobson and Oprah Winfrey.
Moon River Ranch open house
Moon River Ranch, at 110 S. Elm St. will hold an open house to showcase an artists’ studio, art gallery, music and more, 2-6 p.m. May 25. Midway Juneteenth Parade
The Midway Juneteenth Parade will take place at 9 a.m. June 15 in downtown Midway with grand marshalls Brenda Ford, mayor of Midway, and Trent Ashby, Texas Representative for District 57. Entries will meet at 8 a.m. at the old A.V. Lee homestead - (FM 3060 – 1.0 mi north of 21). Organizers are soliciting entries to the parade. BVCAP Head Start is a preschool program that provides comprehensive educational social services to eligible children. Head Start provides a rich, developmentally appropriate educational curriculum, social services to help with everyday needs of life, mental health
