The 2018 Summer Lady Mustangs Volleyball Camp will encompass all age groups and take place on Monday and Tuesday at Madisonville High School.

The camp for players who are entering kindergarten through eighth grade will take place in the morning on both days from 9:15 until 11:30. Kristen Hooten, the head volleyball coach, will conduct the early camp along with coaches Jo Dorman, Ashley Renner, Miranda Butts, Tarsha Neely and Zach Dickson.

The camp for those entering high school through twelfth grade will take place from noon until 3 p.m. Former Lady Mustangs Coach Mary Green and Coach Terrie Green of Brenham ISD will conduct the camp for the high schoolers.

The high school camp will include group drills, station drills, game situations and a review at the end of both sessions.

“The main goals are to help the campers improve and increase their skill level and knowledge of the game,” said Mary Green. “Campers will be placed in specific age groups to allow a coach to camper ratio to remain low so that each player receives maximum attention.”

Those who preregistered for the camp will receive a t-shirt on the second day. Those who have not registered are welcome to on the first day of the camp and they will receive their shirts on August 1. The camp costs thirty dollars and any necessary information will be given to the parents upon arrival.
