Dear Editor,

From the very beginning of this campaign journey when I sat down with my family, I said that win or lose we would run a race which would make us all proud and honor God. I have kept my word. We ran a clean, issue oriented, upbeat campaign, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

Dear Editor,

From the very beginning of this campaign journey when I sat down with my family, I said that win or lose we would run a race which would make us all proud and honor God. I have kept my word. We ran a clean, issue oriented, upbeat campaign, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

I have said many times if God wanted me in this position then he would lead me to it. He has chosen a different path for me, and I am fully accepting of that. I am truly thankful to all of my supporters that have stood by us. I could not have done this without each of you.

My family and I would like to personally congratulate Bobby Adams on his victory as Sheriff of Madison County. I commend Bobby’s campaign for a clean and honorable race. We wish you the best of luck as you embark upon your newly elected venture.

As we close the book on the election of 2020, let's remember that while Bobby and I have differences, our shared purpose is to make Madison County a safe place to live, work and play. Remember we are neighbors, not enemies. Bobby and I began as friends, and we will remain friends long after this campaign is behind us.

Thank you again for your love and support. May God bless each of you and your families, and God bless Texas.

Billy J Reeves
