Dear folks,

I wonder what has happened to the messages we were hearing as Covid-19 hit us hard these past months. Where has the cooperation gone? Where have the “We are in this together” and “Help each other” and “Stick together” messages gone? These seem to have been replaced by hatred, division, segregation along the color of our skin, denigration of all the values that created this nation , and castigation of those in blue that only two months ago, the same people were cheering and lifting up and feeding and giving gifts of love to them, thanking them for putting their lives on the line for us.

Never before have the lines been drawn so clearly. Through this virus, and through the protests and rioting, God has exposed the age-old dilemma that all humans face. We must each answer this question:

Who is in control? Is God in control? Or are we humans in control?

When each of you vote next November, instead of considering which party does a candidate belong to, truly consider your answer to that question above. Which candidate best represents your choice of who is in control? Will their policies follow as best as possible God’s will, who created us, loves us, knows our nature and what we need for peaceful life? Or will their policies imply that THEY are the ones with special knowledge, who know what is best for you and for this nation?

The choice each one of us makes at the polls this November carry enormous ramifications for the continuation of the nation that has given us so many blessings, because it was founded on the principles of God. Will we at least try to continue to follow His standards, or will we turn our backs on Him and His principles and put our future in the hands of people who believe that all that is before us is one huge accident, with no set standards, which we can change anytime we want to?

May God give you wisdom as you consider your choice.
