Lou Ann Brown, 62, of Livingston, passed away Dec. 14, 2018, in Kingwood. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville followed by interment in Greer Cemetery. The Rev. Joel Douget officiated the service.
Lou Ann Brown was born July 22, 1956, in Madisonville, to Sammie Lee and Bobbie Jean (Waldrip) Montgomery. She was raised in Madison County, as well as, Galena Park. Lou Ann enjoyed fishing, reading and loved watching Discovery ID. She had lived the past 14 years in Livingston, coming from Sealy, and was Church of Christ in faith.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Larry Brown; and sister, Lana Curtis. Surviving family members include stepson, Jerry Brown and wife, Deana, of Sealy; nieces, Jeania Louque, and husband, Joel Lindsey, of Crosby and Stefini Garcia and husband, Mac, of Spring; nephew, Dustin Montgomery and wife, Amber, of Houston; brother, Sammy Montgomery and wife, Patti, of Galena Park; and grandchildren, Dalton and Erica Brown of Sealy. Lou Ann is also survived by her beloved Yorkie, “Gracie.”
Pallbearers were Jerry Brown, Dalton Brown, Dusty Montgomery, Sammy Montgomery, Joel Lindsey and Tyler Carr.
