Mary Jane (Day) Reynolds; 81 years, 6 months, 7 days; passed away on Friday: November 22, 2019 in Bryan, TX. Memorial services are scheduled for 11AM on Saturday; November 30, 2019 at The First Methodist Church in Madisonville, TX with Rev. Jim Jackson officiating.
Jane was born on May 15, 1938 in Madisonville, TX to James McKenzie and Helen (Sterrett) Day. She graduated Madisonville High School and attended Southern Methodist University. Jane was an active member of The First United Methodist Church and Alpha Mu Chi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She loved playing bridge and always looked forward to her birthday group which met monthly. At the time of her death; she was serving her community as the curator at The Madison County Museum.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jimmy Reynolds; her sister, Ann (Day) Marshall; her best friend, Dr. Nancy (Heath) Hightower Cole; and her cousin who meant so much to her, Jim Day "Budgie" Burke. She is survived by her son, John Reynolds; her grandson, James Reynolds; and her sister, Sue Ellen (Day) Burton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's memory may be given to The First United Methodist Church or the Madison County Museum.
