Milton Wayne Andrus; 81 years, 9 months, 24 days; passed away on Sunday; November 8, 2020 at his home in Madisonville, TX. Milton was born on January 15, 1939 in Madisonville, TX to Milton Newborn and Melva Lurlene (Vice) Andrus. He graduated from Madisonville High School and served his country in The United States Navy during the Vietnam War, and at the time of his honorable discharge, he was assigned to the USS Saratoga. Milton was retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and upon his retirement, he operated a daycare with his wife where he was affectionately known as PawPaw.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents and his children, Lourisa Ann (Andrus) Thurman and Jason Lynn Andrus.

Milton is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann (Wallin) Andrus; his daughter, Victoria Prine-Farris; his brothers, Mike Andrus and Eddie Andrus; his grandchildren, Erica Y’Evon Blakley, Candice Elaine Boyd (Cody), Christopher Wayne Prine (Mindy), Spencer Elton Thurman (Kendra), Shae Leigh Brunette (Eric), Julia Lynn Hebert (Ross), Leslie Ann Gross (Leonard), and Jared Bryan Thurman; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are: Cody Boyd, Christopher Prine, Spencer Thurman, Jared Thurman, Don Thurman, Tommy Wallin, Jimmy Wallin, and Clint Farris.
