NZISD discusses improvements

The North Zulch ISD school board held their monthly meeting for February on Thursday and discussed the possibility of making facility improvements over the summer.

The possible maintenance discussed by the board and staff included a control system in one place for all of the district’s air conditioning machines as well as possible LED lighting throughout the campus. Any maintenance work would take place following the current academic year.

The board also passed an extension or renewal of the contracts of High School Principal Johan Osth, Elementary Principle Janie Pope and Curriculum Director Lee Ann Andrus.

The Students and Employees of the Month for February were presented with certificates before the meeting began. These students were Zachary Kilpatrick (High School), Jacob Cunningham (Junior High) and Muhammad Sunny (Elementary). The employees were Brittany Owen and Joyce Koenig.
