Richard Crawford "Dick" Blasingame was born December 10, 1934 in Phenix City, Alabama to David J. & Billie Kathryn (Crawford) Blasingame. He served his country for a total of fourteen years between active and reserve duty in the U.S. Army, Texas Air National Guard and U.S. Naval Reserve.

Richard Crawford "Dick" Blasingame

Richard Crawford "Dick" Blasingame was born December 10, 1934 in Phenix City, Alabama to David J. & Billie Kathryn (Crawford) Blasingame. He served his country for a total of fourteen years between active and reserve duty in the U.S. Army, Texas Air National Guard and U.S. Naval Reserve.

Dick had lived in Madison County for the past thirty years, coming from Houston. He was a retired car salesman having previously worked at Madisonville Auto Mall, Tom Light Chevrolet and Dave Ward Motors. Dick was an avid member of the Madison County Gun and Archery Clubs. He enjoyed reading and woodworking and was a faithful Houston Texans & Houston Astros fan. Above all, Dick was a loyal family man who valued his patriotism.

Dick passed away November 17, 2019 at his home in Madisonville. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Patricia Blasingame and sister, Edith Miles. Surviving family members include son, Richard Blasingame, II (Leslie); daughters, Kathleen Simon, Caprice West and Debbie Reagan and grandchildren, Trey Blasingame (Sabrina), Tracey Mujica (Jorge), Christopher Haigh, Raquel Simon, Charmaine Williams, Taylor Simon, Darrick Darbonne and Hunter Reagan. Dick is also survived by great-grandchildren, Kennedy & Cole Blasingame; Raiden Mujica; Caleb Omara; Clara Hughes; Laney, Landon, Serenity & Gage Williams; Brayden, Addison & Breligh Brown; Tatum Skaggs & Allesandra Haigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the TRUMP 2020 CAMPAIGN to “Keep America Great!”

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
