The Madison County Extension Office will host their annual Beef and Forage Program May 31 at the Madison County Fairgrounds Meeting Hall.
The program will feature demonstrations on health management practices, injection sites and anatomy by Dr. Will Totten, DVM, of the Madisonville Veterinary Hospital and Haylage and Silage by Vermeer Baler of J5 Tractor, the sponsor of the event.
Marissa Patton, Associate Legislative Director, Texas Farm Bureau will lead a discussion on eminent domain landowner rights, while Cassandra Silveira, Senior Technical Sales Representative with Bayer CropScience will provide updates on insecticide and fly control, which will offer one GEN CEU credit.
There will also be a display of tractors and equipment on site.
