“Gerhart Wiese is a special player and has a bright future.” Said The North Zulch basketball Head Coach David Graves.
Gerhart Wiese hits an impressive mile stone this season for the North Zulch Bulldogs basketball team. He posted over 3,000 points, 2,500 rebounds and 1,000 blocked shots in his career as a North Zulch Bulldog.
Wiese wears the number 33 and was the captain and senior leader of the team’s campaign this season that ended in the second round of the postseason. This was his final year for the North Zulch faithful to see him in action for their Bulldogs and he will leave a lasting legacy.
Coach Graves thinks very highly of his center, saying, “What he did at North Zulch won’t happen again for a while and I think the young talent coming up will have a goal to strive for and someone to look up to. They will shoot for to break his records that he set here with their Bulldog careers.
Coach Graves continued his heartfelt farewell to Wiese and the rest of the team that won’t return next year, saying, “I love him and his family as I do all my players. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for another great year as a Bulldog and as your coach.”
Wiese has received some offers from schools to continue his basketball career at the next level, but he has not made a decision about his plans after he graduates from North Zulch.
