William Paul McWhorter, 60, of North Zulch, passed away July 24, 2018, at his home in North Zulch. He was born Dec. 15, 1957, in Madison County, to James Chester and Ruby (Bailey) McWhorter. Mr. McWhorter lived the majority of his life in Madison County where he worked as a handyman. He had spent several years living in Uhland.
Mr. McWhorter loved hunting and fishing, tinkering on small engine motors and especially, dancing. He had lived a basic life, never needing or wanting for much.
Mr. McWhorter was preceded in death by both of his parents; brothers, Jim, Cecil and Jewel McWhorter; and sisters, Diana, Patsy and Nell. He is survived by son, Joseph McWhorter (Michelle) of Uhland; daughter, Amy Deayon (Andre) of Kyle; brothers, Dewel “Buddy”, Alton, Kenneth and Gerald McWhorter; and grandchildren, William Carlton Galvez, Vaughn McWhorter, Airanna Galvez, Lillie McWhorter and Olivia Deayon. Mr. McWhorter is also survived by several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
