In August, ‘Keep Madison County Beautiful’ awarded the Residential Yard of the Month to Donald and Peggy Clute for their home on Highway 75 South.
“Thank you on behalf of our family for this award,” said Lisa Clute. “The property has been a labor of love since they purchased it from Donald’s mother in 2000.”
Donald Clute was actually born on the property on Highway 75, which sticks out thanks to its variety of fruit and nut trees, including a beloved pecan tree that is believed to be over 100 years old. There is also a pond at the back of the home and a lot of wildlife as well.
Donald and Peggy Clute have been great stewards of the land for years and were very thankful for the recognition from ‘Keep Madison County Beautiful.’
