Madisonville Senior, Joeli Hardy has had an extremely successful and busy summer. The 17-year-old, along with another Madisonville native, traveled to Australia through the 4H Texas Youth Livestock and Agriculture.

North Zulch, TX - The North Zulch ISD is set to host a significant public meeting on August 28, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. in the NZISD Boardroom located at 11390 Fifth Street, North Zulch, TX.

A public meeting of the Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) has been scheduled for August 28, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Madisonville CISD Administration Building, located at 718 Bacon St., Madisonville, TX.

In a press release issued by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, it was confirmed that on August 18, at 4:44 a.m., deputies from the Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare concern call in the 21000 block of OSR in Madisonville. The call led officers to a residence where they discovered the body of a deceased male.

North Zulch, TX - A swift and fierce grass fire that erupted on Sunday, August 20, at noon has been successfully contained by diligent firefighting efforts near North Zulch. Initial reports prompted evacuations, but as of the latest updates from emergency management, the necessity for evacuations has subsided.
