Timothy Randell Karber; 82 years, 1 month, 28 days; of Madisonville, Texas, who was our dear beloved husband, father, and grandfather; went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday; March 28, 2023, in College Station, Texas, with his children by his side. Randell’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Saturday; April 1, 2023, at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, Texas, with Bro. Wayne Scott officiating. The burial will follow the service at Ten Mile Cemetery in Normangee, Texas. The visitation is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM prior to the service.

Randell was born on January 31, 1941, in Madisonville, Texas, to John and Eunice (Wilson) Karber.

He earned his GED and soon enlisted in the United States Army. Randell was honorably discharged in 1964 after serving in the Medical Specialist Corps. He will long be remembered as the owner/ operator of Karber’s Fine Jewelry in Cypress, Bryan, and Madisonville, Texas.

Randell was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue (Bledsoe) Karber; his parents, John and Eunice (Wilson) Karber, and his brother, Kenneth Karber.

Randell is survived by his children, Dena Rene’ Abernethy and Bart Austin Karber (Amy); his grandchildren, Sadie Lucille and Austin Randell; his siblings, Harvey Karber, Bruce Karber, Billy Karber, and Donna (Karber) Thurman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Serving as pallbearers are Jed Young, Earl Ray Cochran, Mark Karber, Roger Karber, Kenneth Gene Karber, and Matt Busceme. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Clay Young, Terry Young, Nathan Young, Trey Cochran, Lance Cochran, Mason Young, and Jonathan Karber.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Randell’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105).
