The Lady Mustangs (20-4) have kept their position in district play, becoming second behind Jacksonville. The Lady Mustangs played against the Palestine Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 9, winning the match by a score of 49-31, coming out strong and maintaining a twowin streak.
Currently, the North Zulch Bulldogs are fourth in the district with a range of 3-2 after suffering two losses at the hands of Calvert and Richards. The Bulldogs played the Calvert Trojans on Tuesday, Jan.
The Lady Mustangs (18-4) have started their district season strong, winning against the Rusk Eagles, but before that, they played against the Lovelady Lions. The Lady Mustangs will play against the Lovelady Lions on Tuesday, Jan.
On the week of Jan. 2, the Lady Bulldogs faced Round Top-Carmine and Buckholts, beating both teams and securing two wins for district play, becoming second in district play.
During their home tournament, the Madisonville Mustangs won against four schools, including Hearne, Canyon Lake, Rockdale, and Westwood. It all started on Thursday, Jan.
