LINDA LOUISE EVANS FANNIN

Body
Mrs. Linda Louise Evans Fannin, 74, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, while in the presence of her daughter and with the love of her family and friends. Mrs. Fannin was born on July 19, 1947 in Houston, Texas at St. Joseph’s Hospital to Cecil and Lella Mae Evans. Linda grew up in Houston and graduated from Milby High School. After attending cosmetology school, LInda moved to Madisonville, Texas, where she opened the Powder Puff Beauty Salon. She was an amazing hair stylist and enjoyed making the ladies of Madisonville beautiful for many years. LInda maintained lifelong friendships with many of her clients. In 1990, she became involved in promoting and selling Charolais cattle. Her friendly demeanor and lovely spirit allowed her to make just as many friends in her new field as she had in her previous career as a stylist. After retiring, Linda returned to Houston, Texas so that she could be closer to her daughter and her beloved grandchildren. Linda was an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother. If there was an award for World’s Best Grandmother, she would have won it annually. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved traveling to horse shows with them and watching them pursue their athletic endeavors. Linda was so proud of them and they adored her. She will be greatly missed by all of those that knew her. To know her was to love her.
