Walkers Cafe started a helping trend in the community Saturday by donating 20 meals to TDCJ officers working long hours in the heat searching the area for escaped inmate Gonzalo Lopez. The restaurant challenged other local establishments to give out meals, as well, resulting in donations from Joe’s Italian Grill, Mallett Brothers BBQ, McDonald’s and Sonic. St. Joe’s earns top quality grade

The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit national hospital rating organization aimed at creating positive change in U.S. health care and the nation’s premier advocate for hospital transparency, announced today their Spring 2022 Safety Grades, assigning an “A” Hospital Safety Grade to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan and St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital.

LEAD STORY — THERE ARE RULES At the Rio condo building a few blocks from Central Park in New York City, building management has filed a lawsuit against resident Helen Hirsh, 83, alleging she “defecated in the fitness center’s pool and then again in the fitness center shower,” according to the New York Post. The lawsuit also alleges that Hirsh “screams and makes loud noises while using the gym and the pool” and doesn’t always wear appropriate attire in the gym.
